Pros and cons of Panzer Marshal app for iPhone and iPad

Panzer Marshal app good for

November 2015: Still a very good strategygame! When will there be an update? Very good strategy game.. Please, please bring some fixes for this little problems: # Some missions in "das reich" are Not possible to Win (Need to conquer 4 hexes but the Enemy has only 3...) # paracuting Units can sometimes Stack on other Units, Even if they are "dismounted" out of the plane, Even anti-Air can still fire on them (~ small Problem (?): winning brillant brings a new prototype Unit.. If You Win several battles brillant, your core gets very big, and the next missions become very easy..) (~some of the Prices for Units/upgrades are Not so balaced: upgrading a old tank Nearly so expensive äs buying anew One... So better take the new + keep the old.. Two Units are better than One) ## biggest Problem: the battle at the hedgerows: i won brillant.. But the Level does Not end.. Next Time i load the game... The game does Not Start: grey backround.. Menu-Box, without any Buttons.. So i can no longer Play.. And i have no Chance to get the savegames... ( playing with the app on ipad) Deleting the game and install new, will lead to loss of my savegames (very sad, loosing the whole core-Army.. And all the prototypes) I will wait for the next update.. Maybe Starting the game can always Beginn with the Tutorial... So That Problems in the Last savegame would Not lead to Long-lasting game-blackout Sorry for my english
Wow this is better than Glory of Generals and World Conquerer 2! This game has everything this game is awesome!!!
The main menu wont load at all, i cant use the app at all i can only zoom in and out of the unloaded main menu :( Please help. I love this game
Very good strategy game, unique units and maps. The menu navigation is sort of strange but its acceptable.
Best Ive found. Correct relationships between weapons, good detailed graphics, good scenarios and campaigns, great variety of weapons and forces, complex enough to require concentration but not ponderous. My all time favourite. A few glitches in scenarios and transitions which should be fixed soon.
The game is very unstable on iPad Air, newest iOS. Crashes after a few seconds of playing. I am waiting for fixes and... For modern campaigns (even as a in app purchase). Kind regards!

Some bad moments

Maybe a very nice game, but its not really playable on a ipad, the icons looks terrible!!! And please translate it, its nicer to play it in your mother tongue.
Ok so I come on here thinking this is a pretty cool strategy game for mobile. So I go ahead and downloaded. It was actually an ok game, until you realized that you can only move once, then you jut sit there forever... I know there might be a tutorial on this or something but idk. I hit the hour glass button and it gave me a check mark but nothing happened... Ok no big deal Ill just go find some tutorials later... That same night I caught it trying to access things in my iPad such as my location. Which I did not give it permission to do. Nor did it even ask me permission.. I went ahead and deleted it and shut my iPad down. The next day, my iPad was bugged... Thank you open panzers. Im sure the App Store will be thrilled with this
Lots of scenarios A little bit of a learning curve but there is a tutorial Once you get the hang of it campaign and scenarios are reminisce of panzer general games. Decent graphics and high replay ability! 5/5
Open Panzer is a faithful and thoroughly enjoyable recreation of the PC classic Panzer General II. It hits on all of the key points, namely engaging tactical combat and a persistent core of units that gain experience over the course of a campaign. The graphics are outstanding, especially considering this is a one-man project. The sprites are fairly detailed, which makes units relatively easy to distinguish. However, the transition from browser to native app is somewhat hit-or-miss. While it beats playing OP on iPad through Safari, the touch interface is a tad wonky and UI scaling (which is absolutely necessary, especially if youre using retina resolution) is a little buggy. Some of the issues of the browser iteration I was hoping a native app would rectify--notably, the ability to scroll "off the map"--have carried over as well. I would also note that the game is very much a work-in-progress: the dev makes frequent updates that both squash bugs and add content. Notably, the full German grand campaign is missing from the iOS version, which currently has only the invasion of Poland and U.S. campaign. Overall, I highly recommend this to any fan of PG or operational-level wargaming in general.
This is an app that works very nice on my old iPad 1. The game is very intuitive, a few lags between moving graphics and sound, but I can live with that, it’s my iPad, I think. Keep up the good job. Thanks!
Very intuitive game and addicting but the scrolling graphics are pretty rough and laggy. Im on an iPhone and it looks like its built for iPad since the controls/buttons are very small. All in all its a tough game with no difficulty settings but it has potential if improvements are made.
